Froglife Ecological Services is a limited company offering practical conservation work and training, especially focussed on Great Crested Newts and other amphibian and reptile species. They were set up by Froglife, the wildlife conservation charity, but operate quite separately.
When I created the Froglife branding a few years ago, we set up the then Froglife Ltd brand in a similar style, as a sub-brand of the charity. Last year they decided it was time for a revamp, and to make a clearer distinction between the two organisations.
This is a sample page from my branding portfolio, giving an intro to the Froglife house style:
And this is the new Froglife Ecological Services logo and style:
It was absolutely lovely to work with Froglife again, and to draw some more newts! We went through my normal design process – I sent them lots of designs to choose from in two stages of roughs, and they whittled them down to a favourite idea for the final logo. They then got a style guide to use in house and to give to any other designers working with them, to help keep things consistent.
It’s all looking really lovely in use on their new website (designed by Paper Rhino)
