Tits Out Collective

In Summer 2018, Countess Ablaze kicked off an incredible charity fundraising initiative, the #titsoutcollective.  Over 200 creatives took part, creating knitting yarn and related accessories inspired by the Countess’s iconic yarn colour way ‘If I Want Exposure, I’ll Get My Tits Out.

My contribution was to create a wooden pin decorated with a cheeky pair of Great Tits – one of my favourite visitors to our garden.

I started with a drawing of the birds, which turned into a vibrant art print. I created an inky-background inspired by the colours of the yarn…

I then worked with Clear Cut Creations to scale the birds  down to be laser etched onto some yummy cherry wood.  It was available as a pin and a pendant, with and without the #titsoutcollective war cry!

I also ended up drawing the Countess Herself, as a fairy…

I was fundraising for the wonderful Together Rising, who have been doing really important work reuniting the families that were separated at the American/Mexican border.
